Manual Lymphatic Drainage "MLD" massage is not to be confused with Swedish styled massage. Lymphatic Drainage massage is extremely light in nature with intention behind each stroke that is provided. There are over 600 lymph nodes in the body that can cause swelling, strains, inflammation, and bruising if they aren't working properly. This modality of massage is ideal for individuals that are suffering with lymphedema due to cancer, or that have received cosmetic surgeries including facelifts, breast augmentations, liposuction, tummy tucks, and brazilian butt lifts. Red light therapy may be included upon request. Please be sure you are medically cleared by your physician or surgeon before receiving MLD. I have undergone thorough training; receiving my certification in advanced level lymphatic drainage massage.
